Webp images not showing in media browser

Whenever I open the media browser from within the product catalog in Commerce I can’t see webp images. I added them in the general upload file type system settings and they are also enabled in the used media source.

I can see them fine when using the regular media browser, but they are not showing when I try to access them through Commerce. What can I do to enable webp images there?

Looks like we have a hardcoded list of image types in place that does not include webp. We’ll get that fixed in the next release.

Hey @Vibe_Design, to confirm this improvement has been added and is included in Commerce 1.3.0-rc1 planned for release Very Soon™ - next few days tops.
