Setup Options on Updates

I’ve been experimenting with Content Blocks and I see there’s a new update. So I download the update and begin the install where I’m presented with the setup options for layouts and fields. Since I already have a previous version of this installed, I don’t know what these choices will do to my existing installation. I’ve created several new fields and layouts and I don’t want to removed or replaced.

How does this work?

When updating, you shouldn’t tick any of the boxes in the setup options.

It wont overwrite anything, but you’ll end up with duplicates when you do.

Thanks for the fast response! So the setup comes pre-checked (radio buttons) with None for both items. Is that what you mean?

Yep! :slight_smile:

Basically, you’re telling it to not create any layouts/fields.
