We have a new Redactor update for you today. In v1.3.7 we’ve made some tweaks to the replacer plugin, adding a new redactor.plugin_replacer_button
setting that creates a button for it in the toolbar, and improved the performance of rendering the resource panel when you use ContentBlocks + Redactor.
The performance fix requires ContentBlocks v1.8.12, which will be released today as well, and causes Redactor to stop rendering the resource content in the background when ContentBlocks is active on the resource. Especially on more complex resources, this means Redactor will not load images which in most cases will cause 404s (because of relative URLs or snippet calls like pthumb being used). That’s wasted rendering time and has in the past had some side effects, so by preventing the rendering we fix those too.
