Today the forum was down for approx 2,5 hours as an update of the forum software (Discourse) failed to apply properly.
Initial attempts to fix that were unsuccessful, and an attempt to rollback to a recent full-server backup also didn’t bring it back online. As the server hosting it was overdue some major maintenance and upgrades anyway, at that point we started setting up a fresh server to just decommission the previous one. We’re now running the latest and greatest again.

As a bonus from this upgrade, there’s now a new sidebar you’ll find through the hamburger menu in the top left to more easily navigate the forum.
