When using the commerce plugin with Paypal, has anyone encountered error 2069? The format title is: PayPal Blocking Duplicate Order IDs (2069).
When I first enabled 3DS all paypal orders were getting that error (but not in Paypal sandbox). I believe this is due to differences in how they handle duplicate orders in Prod/Sandbox on the Paypal side. I disabled the 3DS part of the Braintree payload for Paypal orders (cards only, custom code) and that seemed to fix it for me.
Now I’m seeing a portion of new Paypal orders get the 2069 error. Not all, but some. None of my test purchases have triggered the error since I did the payload fix, only some portion of production purchases.
I’m on ModX 2.8.3 with Commerce 1.10.2, PHP 7.4.33.
If anyone has encountered this error before, or similar, it’d be a great help to hear about it.
