Hi!
The possibility to insert special characters in Redactor is very nice for my clients, but a pair of important characters are missing: the single guillemets “›” and “‹” that are common for quoted text inside »quoted ›text.‹« in French and German (and absent on german keyboards). Is it possible to add those? Or is it hard-coded inside Redactor?
(I hate it when my clients use >text< instead …)
Sorry for the delay. The special characters plugin uses a hardcoded list. I’ve sent a feature request to Imperavi to request that to be made configurable.
Clips could be an alternative available to you right now, as that does let you define all the options that are shown.
Thanks for the info! Good idea with the clips. I used that for other things already but did not realized that I could use it for this purpose.
