# Gitify Install Local Package

I know that Gitify has the ability to install defined packages. Is there a way to install a local package?

Not currently, though there [is an open pull request to add it](https://github.com/modmore/Gitify/pull/261). If you can test that and report on the issue if it works as expected that would be very helpful in getting it approved and merged.
